Sreedhareeyam – The Best Place for Ayurvedic Eye Treatment
Save your loved ones from total blindness, before it is too late...
Sreedhareeyam is the place to catch, if the eye is becoming dimmer... Read on...
Retinitis Pigmentosa (RP) is a genetic bind eye condition, which starts with night blindness and gradual loss of sight towards complete blindness or very near to that condition in his or her 40s or 50s. In some cases the persons can go complete blind in their childhood itself. Approved medical science writes off this condition as un-treatable or un-curable.
There is however treatment for retinitis pigmentosa. The place where you find Ayurvedic treatment of RP may surprise you to total unconsciousness. The place is a laid back Ayurvedic Eye Hospital and Research Center named Sreedhareeyam, located at Koothattukulam, some 48 km away from Ernakulam, Kerala in India. It is not only RP, but several eye disease cases that are written off by modern medicine are cured at this place.
Eye care or treatments for diseases affecting eyes comes in Shalakya Tantra, one among the eight branches of Ayurveda that deals with diseases that affects parts above neck.
Dr. Nelliakkattu Parameswaran Parameswaran Namboodiri (or Dr. NPP Namboodiri) founded Sreedhareeyam Ayurveda Eye Hospital and Research Center, in the year 2000 as a proof to the world that there is enormous potential for Ayurveda in eye care and treating diseases that affect eyes. Dr. NPP Namboodiri served as an Ayurvedic physician in Ayurveda Hospitals run by Kerala state government.
Sreedhareeyam was started as a small hospital, with capacity of just 8 beds. Now it is an ISO recognized institute with about 260 beds, where people from far North India and abroad. There is an in-house research center, pharmacy with manufacturing facilities within the hospital premises that spread over 40 acres.
In the year 2005 alone, there were 27,999 persons benefited from the eye-care treatment of Sreedhareeyam. About 10% of the patients are from abroad, 35% are from Kerala itself and the rest from all parts of India.
Most eye-patients reach this treatment center after trying all other treatment options available to them, including surgery.
There are treatments for short sight, glaucoma (caused by increased fluid pressure inside eyeballs), diabetic retinopathy (caused due to damage to blood vessels in the eye), macular degeneration, etc have treatments here.
There are thousands of testimonials to testify the value of this hospital. The most prominent among them are the treatments given to Saritha Agarwal, the wife of Brijmohan Agarwal, the chief minister of Chathisgarh (a north Indian state) and Dr. PS Warrier, the preeminent Ayurveda doctor of India, whom the Government of India honored with Padmasree Award.
CASE
ReplyDeletePatients: Four brothers from Kannur District in North Kerala.
Disease: Retinitis Pigmentosa, a rare eye disease due to some genetic disorders.
History: The four brothers who were 18, 14, 12, 10 years of age found their eye sight gradually deteriorating day by day uptill June 10, 1999. Doctors diagnosed that the functioning of their 'optic nerves' are coming to an end. Allopathic doctors diagnosed that there was no treatment for this. It was at this stage that Dr. N P P Namboodiri took up the treatment. The brothers were treated for 1 1/2 months and at the end of the term, they found a change in the deteriorating eyesight. After a long treatment of two years, they are completely cured and their eyesight has been restored.
------------
CASE
Kalyan, a 23 year old young man, a patient of Retinitis Pigmentosa was about to stop his job because of his vision problem. But he care and wise mind of Dr. N P P Namboothiri helped him to continue his job and after a treatment of about 1 year, he got improvement in his eye sight and also in the peripheral vision field.

Dear Steve,
Thank you for your comment...
Though regarded an incurable (genetic-linked) eye-disease, you can trust Ayurveda on regaining eye sight even for RP. The quicker the treatment starts, the better the results will be.
Thank you again.
why are your treatments not recognised in the west and at leading centres for eye research and treatment
ReplyDeletea true cure should be efficacious at all stages of degeneration
have you submitted your findings to eye researchers in the west
Hello Anonymous,
ReplyDeleteIt is sad thing you didn't leave some contact info.
We are really not promoters of the hospital. We presently are only developing a portal, to centralize the wonders of Ayurveda and making them accessible to general public.
this is one hospital we found good, and we just report it.
ah so you are merely REPORTING IT FOR someone else
ReplyDeletethat is the problem ... no subjective scientific proof has been given and therefore most of what has been professed to have occured is really heresay and third party transmissions
cures for such a devastating disorder will not come this way, not be scienfifically confirmed
physicians in the west therefore have dismissed the very few people who may have gained some visual acuity but the RP has not been arrested nor cured
they definitely will go blind if they are not treated with either stem cell technology, genetic reprogramming of the photoreceptors or transplantation technologies
sorry but that is now fact
Anonymous,
ReplyDeleteBelieve it like that for as long as you wish. Or pay a visit to this treatment center mentioned.

I am a sixty year old and have had RP since early childhood. My vision is very poor now as all I have left is central vision. I would love to recieve a magic treatment before the lights go out. But I can not get my brain around your unbelivable treatment. If in fact you have cured even one RP case you would now be world famous and in the headlines of all major newspapers and TV news sources. Therefore I will wait for the headlines before jumping on a plane and coming your way.
ReplyDeleteDon Jenkins jinx4567@aol.com
There are positive as well as negative comments about treatment for RP. I am confused, can someone guide me.
ReplyDeleteThanks

ReplyDeleteSir, I am at 42 ,an acute miopic (-20) undergone cateract surgery for both eyes , Now a days facing lot of problems like night blindness poor vision ,floaters .using Latanopost for gloucoma. Is there any chance of improvement in my case.Kindly advise.Thanking you. Sivanand
ReplyDeleteThis is a bogus report. I took my friend Mr. Arun Torgal and went to this place. Mr. Torgal is blind now (at the age of 33) due to RP. Sreedharyam could not do anything for him.
ReplyDeleteI request all people reading this to abstain from all the hype around so-called greatness of Ayurveda.
Maybe ayurveda is effective for some simple diseases like redness of eyes, or some minor eye tiredness and stuff like that. I think Steve is 100 percent correct.
this is not bogus. i had poer of -5.5 diopter. after treatment my power was-2.0 diopter. dont just say anything bogus. first go and check it. i have seen people getting cured. first go and check and then say it is bogus. allopathic doctors cannot accept truth even after showing proof. atleast after giving proof they should find out why this is happening. they just cannot accept it. my mother had also undergone treatment for eyes and her vision has improved.
Deleteyes ther is cure for cylindrical power. i had cylindrical power. after treatment my power has reduced
DeleteDo you have some cure for cylindrical eyes. I am having a lots of problems due to this. I have tried glasses, but my axis keeps changing. Can I contact the doctor directly.

I am suffering from retinitis pigmentosa from year 1997. After confirming the disease, within a period of 6 months,I lost vision in my right eye and was having only a blurred vision through the central portion in my left eye with which I was not able to see a full face and not able to identify anybody visually. I am a living example of the success of Dr. NPP Namboothiri and Sreedhareeyam eye hospital. I started my treatment from year 1998 with Dr. NPP Namboothiri before Sreedhareeyam eye hospital started and from year 2000 onwards at Sreedhareeyam eye hospital.
ReplyDeleteI got out of the 24 hr headache completely, got clarity on the 10% blurred area vision at my left eye, regained clear vision of around 5% in my right eye with the first treatment itself by 1998. With this I could come back to Dubai and continue my job as Engineer leaving a gap of 5 months ( I was running behind western medicine for 3 months without any positive result ).
Dr. NPP Namboothiri advised me to take rest and to stay away from the heat in Dubai in order to have complete cure, since cool climate will help speedy recovery with ayurvedic treatment and warm conditions will lead to deterioration again.
The company wanted me back in Dubai coupled with my financial circumstances forced me to continue my job in Dubai. It was like a battery recharge, 4 months my vision deteriorates because of the heat, then I recharge it again at Sreedhareeyam. I was very much happy continuing this process.
Currently I have 16% vision in my left eye, 10% in my right eye( both in the central area ) and both my eyes are showing vague peripheral vision.
My current status is because of Dr. NPP Namboothiri and Sreedhareeyam eye hospital. I felt very much sad by reading the comments posted on this site. You all may please note that you cannot create darkness around you by closing your eyes at daytime.
I welcome communication from people suffering from eye diseases. So to conclude, I have seen lot of people getting cured or getting improvement at Sreedhareeyam.
My anonymous good friend is writing above
ReplyDelete“cures for such a devastating disorder will not come this way, not be scientifically confirmed”
What do you mean by scientifically confirmation…
I have consciousness, I know you also have consciousness.
The whole world is having consciousness.
Consciousness is not scientifically proven till date.
In order to scientifically prove anything it must be measured.
Consciousness could not be measured using the known basic units of mass (energy) length and time. Therefore can you confirm that consciousness does not exist. No use my friend anonymous, Your westerners have already accepted that they have Consciousness.
Dear anonymous, please understand.. The so called western principles or the Newtonian principles are incomplete. In order to come out with a complete principle, they ( westerners ) started studying (Re inventing the wheel ) eastern principles.
You may please search on “ quantum physics “ to get more information.

ReplyDeletehttp://angel-allen.blogspot.com/
Today ayurvedic medicine is said to be the last hope for all who are visionless. First and foremost, ayurveda has no side effects since it does not include any surgical operation. There is no chance of infection or blood loss.
ReplyDeleteThere are many proved RP cases that were healed by ayurvedic treatments. According to Sreedhareeyam Hospital statistics there is 70% of curability of this disease. In many cases after taking a few courses in Sreedhareeyam hospital eyesight has stopped deteriorating. Dr Namboothori helped many people to restore their eyesight.
Ayurvedic treatments vary form patient to patient, since all of them are prescribed only after a careful diagnosis of the patient’s body constitution, family history, sex, age, stage of the disease etc. This will enable the patient to receive treatments that are specifically suited to his very needs.
Thatis why personal consultation with a doctor is advisable to find out about chances to restore the eyesight. What is important, early detection of ailments helps in faster recovery. Ayurveda strengthens the nervous system and prevents degeneration of the optic nerves.
Could you please explain the method that you follow to cure short-sightedness permanently in your profile so that those who want to take treatment can understand the pain they have to take up before attempting this?
ReplyDeleteI would like to know whether any treatment options are available for preventing or controlling the recurrence of tumors of retinoblastoma of two year old baby.

Hi, Here its Apurba from Guwahati. I am from clinical research field (M.S. from Crane field University, U.K.). My own uncle, who is 40yrs of age, suffering from RP from last 15yrs. i tried a lot to give him the best treat. ReplyDeleteMy Wife is undergoing treatment for RP at Delhi Branch of Sreedhariyam. Today we will finish first round of treatment of 18 days. We have changed the lifestyle and following the treatment religiously. It is totally different that the allopathy. I am optimistic and will come for the second session after few months. Will get the field test done and measure after about 1 year of InPatient treatment and medicine at home.
ReplyDeleteI have been told that there is no cure for RP in aryuvedic too but the target is to manage and keep the vision intact with a hope of improving 10%.
Positive state of mind plays role in treatment, its not magic pill you take and get cured. If anyone does not believe in it then should not follow the treatment.
It have met patients who are coming here for last 2-3 years and pledge not to leave the treatment. They are following it like religion. Still open to any miracle like stem cell or other treatment but dont want to be guinea pig for those treatment.
my sister has problem of RP. she is 33 years old. I am from Biratnagar,Nepal. my cell no. is +977 98520 26504. And my email id is spankajt361@gmail.com. i shall be greate full.pls also mail me ur address.
ReplyDeleteYes, Even i agree that Ayurvedic treatments are really beneficial and effective in restoring eye sight. In fact, Ayurvedic is not the last hope...it should be taken as the first step to cure eye diseases. Take care.
ReplyDeleteIt's the matter of vision.Instead of fighting each other try to help those innocent people suffering from this particular disease. As per my information a research is happening in University of Southern California for RP.Let's pray for the success of this research.
ReplyDeleteHI, Me Dr.Trilok from rajasthan, my nice has diagnosed retinitis pigmentosa 5 yrs back and now she is 15 yrs old and very intelligent and studious but now her vision is very much deteriorated and she very hardly able to read and write.she recently scored 84% in 10th rajasthan board despite on very hard to read and write.now her future seems in darkness. is there any solution for RP in sreedhareeyam or what would be cost...plz help out for that innocent child.

I am from Bangalore, My no. is 07829325275 vasanth, My son is 5 year, He is having Squient problem, and He is having eye sight power. i wanted to give treatment. pl. help me out.
ReplyDeleteunless you publish some supporting records & documents on the process of cure to those patient(brother)s from Kannur(of RP)you cannot bogusly claim such success rate....especially in dealing with hopeless patients...its not so simple like a street dweller announcing thru the microphone about the all in one cure property of his "magical drug".Be rationale in such important shastra related matters.
ReplyDeletea joint study with modern ophthalmology institute an ayurveda treatment protocol on management of ARMD,myopia and Diabetic Retinopathy is on way...may be a1 year trial would pave some more light & focus to the claims by Ayurveda.

Please do not listen to this website. This is clearly fraudulent. There is evidence that this works and makes no scientific sense. There are some really new treatments available to slow down progression but so far there are no cure.

ReplyDeleteAyurveda is almost as aged as man kind. Its ancient and effective. Western medicine is a derivative of various medical sciences having its roots traced Back to ayurveda. Read your history with an open mind, you will be enlightened. The reason why western medicine doesn't know about these cures is because they dont the disease properly. Its pathetic how people uphold western medicine to be the centre of the world. If you want proof for the effects of ayurveda, you come down here, record it and share with your western world. Our people understand its important, that's why we have ayurvedic hospitals and colleges all over our country. We are ready to share, please dont be ignorant to dispel those which you cant digest. Our sciences go far above the western understanding of mankind and the world, so have an open mind. We welcome our brothers and sisters in the western world to realize and feel for themselves real medicine.
ReplyDeletesir/madam i am 20 year boy . i have a glaucoma problem . if i treated via ayurvedic it will be gone ?.. nw my eye pressure is 32
ReplyDeleteHave you tried the treatment? I have. I was diagnosed with a rare degenerative eye disease not too dissimilar from RP. Idiopathic Bilateral Parafoveal Talengeictasia. I was being treated by a great Retina specialist. I even made a trip to Johns Hopkins to meet with the head of the department. The treatment that was offered here in the US was becoming less effective and I was loosing ground. We found the Sreedhareeyam Hospital website and after a great deal of research went to India for a course of treatment at their facility. I came back healthier and with significantly better eyesight. It is not a cure but there is no cure. It is simply a treatment. One I do not understand and neither does my doc. But you cannot argue with the results. With my doctors blessing, we are now planning our next trip to the hospital in India for November.
